Donating Your Time

We recognize that time is priceless, and volunteering can change the world.

Volunteers perform many different jobs at the pantry.

Many serve shoppers during food distribution hours

while others work at other times “behind the scenes”

receiving deliveries and shelving donations.

We also welcome volunteers with professional skills

such as accounting, marketing, grant writing, legal, etc.

Volunteering during food distribution hours:

Volunteering at food distributions involves moving and unloading boxes of food, setting up tables and assisting shoppers.

At the end of the shopping hours, volunteers break down tables and remove compost, trash and recycling.

Volunteers are expected to be masked, to maintain social distance, and to assist shoppers in maintaining social distance.

Volunteers who speak both English and Spanish are especially helpful.

Food Distribution shifts are

Mondays from 3:30PM to 5:30PM

Thursdays from 8:30AM to 10:30AM

Thursdays 10:30AM to 12:30PM.
